Porcelain Veneers

Porcelain Veneers

If your teeth are mildly discolored, misshapen, unevenly spaced, or worn down, porcelain veneers may be the solution. Dentists can place the veneers to make your smile a consistent shade with perfect alignment. These thin, yet durable shells of porcelain will be bonded onto the front surfaces of your teeth, resulting in a new, gorgeous grin.

Veneers are pieces of porcelain that are used to cover a natural tooth. Veneers are used as a permanent covering that conceals visible flaws. These super-thin, tooth-shaped enhancements are bonded over the front of teeth to produce a uniform smile free of visible flaws. This may be done for a variety of reasons. Veneers can cover broken, unusually shaped, or discolored teeth, or even address spaces and gaps between teeth. These strictly cosmetic restorations are used to improve the appearance of a smile quickly, simply, and in an affordable way.

Veneers are beautiful, long lasting, stain-resistant, and affordable for most patients who want to alter their smiles cosmetically. They are a wonderful alternative to dental crowns, orthodontic treatments, and teeth whitening, and multiple veneers can be used to complete an overall smile makeover. Crafted from the highest quality porcelain, veneers are custom made just for you by trained dental technicians. Receiving veneers is an easy process that requires two visits to our practice.

The first visit consists of tooth preparation, a process where a tiny layer of tooth enamel is removed from teeth. This is done so that veneers blend in seamlessly with the shape of existing tooth structure and the natural curved shape of the mouth. Once this process is complete, our dentist will take molds. Molds are used to determine the specifications of each veneer. Once the veneers are ready, the patient will return to our office for the placement process.
